A very domestic day indeed!

I've done laundry.
I've done dishes.
I've sewn.
I've made dinner.
I've cleaned.

That's some day! And I didn't even need to wear my little 50s apron to do it!

Jim's pattern is just about done and will hopefully get at least partly cut out tonight before it's off to Jim Porter's Good Time Emporium for a fun-filled night of swing dancing.

I'm really getting into PatternReview. I went looking for a sewing forum and have never seen one anywhere near as helpful! I can review patterns, books and machines that I know and look up reviews on the ones that I don't. I can ask any kind of question about sewing that I can think of and there's always someone around who knows the answer! I can find people who are just as crazy about sewing as I am and share squees and tales of woe to people who really get it and are doing just the same thing. I love that I can even find equipment to buy and have a place to sell the things that I don't need. It's been very friendly and inviting and I wake up each morning excited to start my day and see what my sewing peers are up to on their latest projects.

  1. You domesticity is scaring the hell out of me. Where in your genome did this come from?

    I'm so confused!

  2. No new incredible sewing adventures or just so busy with new projects that you haven't had time to update this site?
